I installed KDE into Ubuntu last week via the terminal, so that it runs as though I have both Ubuntu and Kubuntu. But I find that my computer doesn't take too well to having both a KDE and a GNOME browser side-by-side, so I want to remove KDE and its components. I have no idea how to though, and I can't find anything useful in any documentation. Would anyone care to help? If it helps, I'm running Ubuntu 8.10.

Did you install it by adding the kubuntu-desktop package? You can remove it by uninstalling that package or if you want to be more through http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/puregnome
