Well, I just saw that RC3 of XFCE 4.2 was released. Looking at the changelog, it's just minor bugfixes: http://xfce.org/release_notes/4.1.x_changelog.html
RC2 took a LOT of effort to backport, so I think I won't backport RC3. Instead, I'll wait for a final.
