I tried another pointless ******* game today - Red Alert 3 .. its well made ... but pointless.
can u imagine if all people who spend their lives creating stupid games .. were participating in linux devolopment instead ..

Going by that - all games are stupid.
They're not meant to have a point...that's the point ;)
Red Alert 3 is a good game... I think so anyway

No, thank God that they are making stupid games instead of taking their terrible skills and using it to develop Linux instead!

They might not want to develop Linux, and why should they if they don't want to?
No, thank God that they are making stupid games instead of taking their terrible skills and using it to develop Linux instead!
How do you know their skills are terrible? They may be extremely talented programmers who just don't have the spare time to put as much energy into a project as they would like. They may also be highly skilled in some other aspect of programming, and just decided to branch off into games development as a way of exploring their interests.

People who are in the software development business with very few exceptions want to make as much money as they can.
So why would they bother with Linux based software when it is such a minuscule market.
Mac's have a bigger share of the market & they don't get many new games either. Though Transgaming's Cider is being used to port some games over to the Mac lately, this is only happening because it costs the games companies so little to do it.
Money again.
