"Checking Mirror" froze bug

This is just a little bug report
I try to install ubuntu 8.10 today and 3 time installation stall at "checking mirror" ..... i retry again the installation but i change my loation from montreal to New York and solve my probleme !!!

Depending on how busy the repositories are it can take 15-20 minutes to check the mirrors. Be patient it will cotinue.
