I've been using Kubuntu for many years now, currently running 8.04/kde3.5.10, I am proudly a hack-and-claw 'user', not an 'expert' in any facet of linux or *buntu
I decided to d/l the ubuntu8.10 iso and give it a test drive on the same system. Download worked no prob, burn as well, On first run, integrity check passed without comment.
And that's as far as I can get. When I try the 'test drive' everything just stops, monitor light blinks like it has no signal
any advice welcome!
