Hi,
My env:
Ubuntu 8.04.1 running under Fusion 2.0 on a MacBook Pro.
My Problem:
I have a python script that I want to be readily available. When I right
click on the top panel and pick the add to panel menu choice I get
the dialog box that I fill in with the path to the script and I also choose
a png file for the icon. ( the png file is in the same directory as the
python script.)
When I dismiss the dialog the icon appears in the top panel and clicking
the icon starts the scripts ( a database browser ).
When I reboot all of the "data" that describes what to do apparently gets
lost and the little "springy" icon replaces the icon I chose ( and there is
no data shows when the "property" menu for the icon in the panel is
picked.
I do the same thing with my fedora vm and don't have this problem...
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jerry
