Hi guys,
After upgrading to 8.10 the sound card was not recognized anymore.
My motherboard is an old ASUS A7N8X deluxe.
To get it works, you need to install the proprietary NVidia's drivers.
I have followed this terrific HOWTO: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=253725 (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6137822)
and it worked.
