Logitech E3500plus

I just bought the above webcam.
I get a picture in Ekiga but not in aMSN.
I want to test the built in mic too....

I do not get a picture at all in cheese - camorama wont load stating "could not connect to video device dev/video0

any ideas?

I am running 8.10 on a Dell inspiron 1520... I have still not had any joy with this cam in Chesse... or aMSN - I was hoping to use seesmic and sites like that!!

It works very well for me, but not in Camorama or Cheese, but in guvcview (viewing, recording, tweaking, all with audio), or in wxcam. In Skype too.
