Ubuntu 8.10 is there any way of just removing oe deleting keyring. Have tried a few of the fixes that have been posted to no avail.

I have not had any issue with keyring unless I allow system to automatically boot without entering password at login. It then asks for it.

So that means I have to enable login. Is there no way just to remove it

Login is your friend. Use it and you will bypass having to repeatedly enter passwords or keyrings for common tasks. It is only a minor procedure upon start-up to have to enter user and password info.

There are ways, once in the system, to have password remembered. That could be for a limited time period, entire session or always. You will still have to login but, as stated, that is only a very minor detail.
