Hello,
I recently installed Ubuntu on my Dell Inspiron 6000, release 8.04, upgraded to 8.10. After I use the function keys, for example to change the screen brightness (FCN-'UP ARROW'), I am unable to drag windows, click on windows to gain focus, select items from panels, right click on desktop objects,Alt-Tab to scroll through open windows, etc. All other functionality remains; for example, I can still close windows, launch programs from AWN, etc. I usually have to restart using CTL-ALT-BACKSPACE. I have this problem in both Gnome and XFCE.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Jordan
