Hey All,
I purchased a Dell Power Edge 1550 from Ebay a few weeks ago and decided to toss it up.
I didn't have any SCSI hard drives around so I ordered one and then attempted to install Ubuntu.
I kept receiving the error "No boot device available" and my efforts to install Ubuntu through a network through a floppy failed miserably so I ordered another CD-ROM Drive just incase the existing one was broken.
Well, I installed the new one and same error
"No boot device available"
I toyed around with all the boot sequencing and whatever else I could in the very limited BIOS it has.
Any suggestions?
