Hi,

I tried upgrading from Hardy to Intrepid this morning, and the upgrade went all the way to end before failing. It left me hanging high and dry with the error message "Upgrade failed, your system may be unusable". [Very reassuring, that error message]

Fortunately, my system is usable, and it seems like something have been upgraded and some things haven't. One thing I know for sure is that the kernel hasn't been upgraded - uname still returns 2.6.24, while I believe 8.10 should be using the 2.6.29 kernel.

My questions is: what should I do now? Is there a way to rollback to Hardy. Is there a way to repair the Intrepid install?

Thanks,
Pramod
