How to install ATI fireMV 2400 PCI on Ubuntu



I have just install my new quad head video card ( ATI FireMV2400 PCI ).

Unfortunately Ubuntu 8.10 doesn't recognized it, so only 1 head/output works.

ATI doesn't provide a linux driver for this card.

Is there a way, generic ATI driver that I could install to, at least have a dual or triple head video output working ?

Did you ever get an answer? The card otherwise looks promising, especially after the newest Xorg in lucid killed my dual-nvidia card setup.
