Sorry for the long winded title but it's the meat of the problem.
Which should I install first? Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop or Win XP Pro 64?
I have just placed an order with Tigerdirect for parts of my next rig and I very much like to run Ubuntu 8.04 as the main OS. I cannot however completely forgo Win and will have to install it in a small(er) partition.
It will be an AMD Phenom X4 9950 / 8GB RAM / 2 x 1TB HDD (RAID1)
I need maybe 4GB on the HDD for Win XP 64, the specialized software I use for work and related storage.
Those couple Ubuntu installs I did so far were actually all inside Windows, not even in a partition by themselves.
So, how would you recommend I proceed with the installation?
