Ignore Certain Updates?

Is there a way to ignore certain updates? It keeps popping up a notification saying I have updates available but I don't want to update the linux-headers or linux-image since any time I do update these my Nvidia drivers stop working and I have to go through a hassle to get them to work again. As it is I had to hack my edid in order for it to work at all.

I'd like to ignore just the headers and linux-image if possible while still getting updates for everything else. Thanks in advance :)

Whatever shows up in the update manager if ticked off will not install, I don't know of any way to specify these packages you don't want otherwise.

If you go into the package manager and choose the package you don't want to update you can choose don't update.
