help with installing new splash screens!

Uhm.. it's kinda weierd. you see, every time i want to install a new splash screen, the manager just crashes. open it again, try installing once more and it crashes again. i tried reinstalling the splash screen manager, update it and it still doesn't work. i can't figure it out, maybe because i'm a total beginer, so that's why i'm asking for your help.

are you sure your in the slash manager and not the appearance manager?

so, yes it is splash screen manager and not appearance manager, and Amazona aestiva, the link u've provided is very useful, but it still crashes everytime i try to install a new splash screen...:-<.. oh well, i guess i'll leave it as it is.
