View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to install Flash 8 or higher?

Please, now and then there are sites that ask me to install Flash 8 or higher. When I agree, an adobe Flash Player dowloading page pops up. Problem is when clicking what is downloaded finally: a folder that when opening simply shows a couple of files, one of them with "install" word. When clicking, no installer program activates. I suppose I have to use a Terminal. Please, could you say to me what must I to write in this Terminal in order to execute the files? If I am asked as a root, please, could you say to me how to go on with this frequent and nagging barrier?

Thanks a lot and waiting help.
