If this has been asked before, please slap me and send me in the right direction.
I have an MSI Neo2 motherboard, with 4 MatrixRaid ports. I can turn the raid on or off in the bios, with option for IDE, RAID, or AHCI. I have 3 disks which I wish to use in a RAID0 on which I will install my system.
Questions:
Should I create the RAID using the Matrix Storage Manager bios, or will Xubuntu create and manage the RAID itself?
If I *dont* RAID the disks, should I still have RAID selected in BIOS.
This is confusing me slightly. Any tutorials of walkthrough from start (bios) to end (welcome screen + xfce login) would be great.

Other info; PC has 5 drives, 1TB on Marvell port, 500GB on Intel port 4, and a 320 and two 80's on the other intel port. (Its the 320 and the two 80's that i wish to use to create a 220(approx)GB system disk.)
