Hi All,
I hope that somebody can help.
We have one machine running Ubuntu in an Office of XP machines with a Brother MFC-7820N networked through an XP.
In Gutsy everything worked perfect using Samba to connect. On upgrading to Hardy we had (have) major issues with the printer not being found. We managed to work around it and to be honest I can't remember what I did to fix it but I do remember it took me a whole day.
Enough with the background, the problem is since upgrading to Intrepid theprinter is found and works perfectly through Samba apart from the fact the page prints 2cm too high meaning it cuts off the top of the page.
I've played with the printer settings and the only way I can get the whole page to print is by setting the 'Job Options - Common Options - Scale to fit" button to checked. I have played with the top margin as well.
Any ideas?
