Hello,
I'm trying to install the Ibex on an old computer that was running (recently no longer smoothly) on Breezy.
It does the logo for a good while with the backwards and forwards moving bar under it, and then ends in a terminal-like screen (whole screen), explaining the virtues of sudo and asking for a command by doing
ubuntu@ubuntu (dollarsign which I don't have on my keyboard) :
Like in a terminal, but it's not asking me to set up my root user name or password. Any ideas what I should type there?
To be precise : first install try in French. Failed as described above.
Then tried English, because sometimes it works better. Discovered that we haven't got an English keyboard any more and it was hopeless to try and remember what is where.
Now retrying French. It's loading.
Thanks for any ideas.
Lila
