Hi all,
I have recently had a major love affair with Ubuntu. I am using 8.10 at current and it is running on an external HDD. Well, I have finally decided (after exploring CrossOver to handle any "must be on windows tasks") to abandon Windows entirely.
Is there any way that I can, essentially, move the installation from my external HDD to the main drive inside my computer? Which is, of course in grand Microsoft style, being hijacked by Windows XP at the moment. I have done quite a bit of configuration on my Ubuntu installation and would hate to start again.
I am technically minded and somewhat familiar with the command line but any guidance, articles you've seen, or points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
