Hi,
I updated my system from 8.04 to 8.10 yesterday. I use a Nvidia Geforce 8600 as first device (for X,...) and a 280 GTX as second device (Cuda, ...). After the update X doesn't come up any more. If i remove one of the cards everything is working again. It doesn't matter which card i use. I think it is not an issue with the nvidia drivers because i used the same driver beforehand. I tried the ubuntu shipped binary and the one from the nvidia homepage -- same story....
Does anybody have a clue what the problem is?
