I just upgrade my system from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 using the alternate CD image. After I rebooted the system and logged into the gnome session, I realised that the Ubuntu keeps start multiple gnome sessions; there are new panels created and layered on the top of previous panels and I can keep hear the startup sound.
Does anyone has the same problem? How should I fix it? Thanks!! :)
