Just did a network upgrade to 8.10 from 8.04 and everything seemed to go OK but this morning, when I fired up the computer, I can't maximize anything. There's a strip of desktop showing at the bottom of Firefox, Thunderbird and anything else I start up even after I've maximized them.
There are no drag borders so the applications really are maximized but they're also not maximized. It was a short trip to "stumped" since I don't have a clue what to futz with.
