1. Battery icon shows at random. I set it to always display via the options, but it did nothing. Power management does not always come up.
2. Pidgin crashes if I send a message. At first I thought this was compiz effects I use, but I even uninstalled compiz and the problem persists.
I don't see anyone else having the pidgin problem. Maybe I should reinstall. I really don't want to though, because I have put a decent amount of time into getting other things working.
