I have in gdmsetup enabled automatic login. In sessions startup programs i have a little script : startUp.sh where is
gnome-screensaver-command --lock
This start my ubuntu with demanding password, but everything is working in background. It works perfectly in 8.04.
But in 8.10 there is always big delay after typing password. 3-6 minutes is checking, what i want in 3 seconds.
Do you have a same problem? I stop using this and use suspend and hibernate, but i want it back.
