Hi,

I have trouble playing flac in my ubuntu interpid.
I installed flac and gstreamer0.10-plugins-good.
Unfortunatelly totem, vlc or rythmbox wont play those files.
Totem just says it cant get the type of stream (am guessin here because I have got a czech language installation).

Any solution please? :(

Thank you

I dont have any idea why VLC media player wouldnt play .flac files.

I have used songbird to play some of my flac files. Here is the home page for songbird http://getsongbird.com/

Downloading songbird now.

VLC debug shows something about garbage input and that it cant guess type.

edit: well.. it says:
"Songbird had a problem and crashed.:
