Hello
I'm having problems with my sata controller card (Sil3114). When i installed ubuntu i used the F4 option to add additional drivers and then used the driver from the Sil3114 drivers cd. This worked fine and the install was completed "succesfully". The problem is, when i try to boot ubuntu i get the bla bla ata bla bla. This is the same error which will occur when i try to install ubuntu without the additional driver.
My question then: Where is the driver i added to the install?, isn't it obvious that it will be needed for running ubuntu not just install it. If the driver isn't there then how can i add the driver again?, i can't boot the recovery either.
