Hi
This is not a strictly Ubuntu related question, and itīs not really a big problem to me - thatīs why i post it in the café.

I have been trying out some different distributions lately and i have noticed that everytime i use my wireless to download ISOs, the md5sum never comes out correct. With Wired network this is not a problem.

Generally i donīt have any problems with wireless internet - it works just fine.

Any suggestion as to what is going on?

Thanks
Carsten

if your wireless connection is spotty, then it might be dropping packets and therefore dropping data.

If your downloading a linux distro, you can use bittorrent, which ensures that all data you download matches up to a hash, so therefore it is guaranteed to be correct. Try that.
