hi,

two problems arose: first, qtjackctl literally lost its face - the main windows remains blank, although by guessing where, for instance, the start and stop buttons are, i can still start and stop jack. annoying, but to date not a real hurdle. i tried reinstalling it, problem not solved.

the second problem arose recently (after reinstall) and yields this in the qtjackctl message window:

why? any hints? (hw:2 was not connected this time, doesn't make a blind bit of difference whether it is).

funny things is: occasionally, after the umpteenth reconnect, it would work.

running 8.04 studio.

much obliged,
