I was just trying to burn a normal audio CD with about 20 tracks, and k3b kept yelling at me about converting to wav. Okay fine, so I get in sound converter, convert the 20 tracks to wav, and k3b still isn't happy. Concert your wav files to wav! Yeah, okay.

So I figured I'd try out Brasero. After 30 attempts, I'm successfully burning an audio CD with Brasero. However, 29 times it froze on me. It froze each time if I would click on a directory, then hit back, that's when it just locked up.

Anybody else run into this?

Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 64 bit.

Running Brasero in terminal yielded this:

I am having this same problem. Every time I enter my Music directory which contains all my mp3s, Brasero locks up.

I am able to burn mp3s fine in K3b though...

Is there a missing package that I need for Brasero to handle mp3 files? I have used Brasero plenty in the past and ever had this issue.

Brasero has never worked for me...and when I upgraded to intrepid, gnomebaker quit working, too.
