I'm trying to upgrade to 8.10 from 8.04 and I'm having dependency issues.
Here are the errors:
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libesd0-dev: Depends: libesd-alsa0 (= 0.2.40-0ubuntu1) but 0.2.38-0ubuntu9 is installed or

libhtml-parser-perl: Depends: perl (>= 5.10.0-10) but 5.8.8-12 is installed
Depends: perlapi-5.10.0
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.
