Anyone in the UK been watching this series? I think it's great. It shows Stephen Fry traveling through all the U.S states and meeting different people along the way. It's a very good introduction to America as it is from a British point of view. I never really appreciated how vast the country is.

If you're in the UK and have missed it, you can catch up on it through iPlayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00fcvbq/Stephen_Fry_in_America_Mountains_and_Plains/

The series is okay, but it is only a look at the 'face' of the USA rather than getting a good look inside it. Here is a video of Fry's support of open-source...http://www.gnu.org/fry/

I found it incredibly dull, like a lot of Stephen Fry's work. Somewhat self-indulgent as well. I'm sure the US has more to it then... uhhh... firefighters and comedy clubs. He could have done that in the UK!
