Started the LiveCD in LiveCD mode,
In "normal" grafics mode got unsynced display in magenta. Safe grafics mode 800*600 works but can't be changed to other resolution.
I think 8.10 is too automated! Thats good and bad: e.g. Internetaccess on the fly, no action was necessary -via DHCP router-. Hardy works well on this computer.
In "driver CD" mode not checked in absence of such a CD. What drivers should it contain? and where to get for Linux?
Monitor is Benq FP767 and Geforce6600.
BTW: Samsung 19" and RivaTNT2 works well.
The xorg.conf is empty, only headlines for Device, Monitor and Screen in both computers with the LiveCD.
Does it make sense to use the settings xorg.conf from Hardy?
But I think this alone will not help.
