Cant move in the installation screen

Hi!

I'm trying to do dual boot XP/Linux. Of course, I already have two partitions. Well, I burned the live CD of the new Ubuntu, and when the installation screens appears and I select any of the options (except "Boot from the hard drive") the system stops. I simply can't move anything...

Can anyone help, please?

How fast did you burn the ISO image to a CD? Are you able to pick the Scan CD for defects option from the menu?

I burned it for a CD-RW, but it seems to be ok... I didn't tried that option, but I'll try it now ;)

Well, it doesn't work... But the windows runs the CD with no problem, so I suppose the CD is in good conditions...
