Taskbar disappeared; can't bring it back

For some unknown reason, thunar crashed. The next time I restarted my PC, the taskbar won't come up. I can still access thunar and every other application using the right-click button in the desktop.

But how do I get my taskbar back?

Press Alt+F2 to reach a run dialog. Then type


xfce4-panel

Save the session on logout.
