I have a desktop using a Linksys WUSB600N wireless adapter connnecting to a Linksys WRT160N router using WPA Personal.

It's still running Hardy - I think. Kernel versions in grub are the older ones.

I had this working intermittently in Hardy. Something about Ubuntu was driving the router to shutdown the wireless every three minutes...killing the signal for ALL users. This only happened when running Ubuntu on the desktop.

I started the upgrade to Intrepid and package download was interrupted several times because of this and did not complete.

Now I have NO WIRELESS AT ALL in Ubuntu on this machine. BTW, there is no hardwire available to this machine.

I should note that when running in Vista, it connects fine and the router behaves perfectly as well, so it has to have something to do with Ubuntu.

I put a lot of work into just getting the little connectivity I have in Hardy. I don't care to repeat all that.

If there is a simple solution, I'd love to hear it...

Thanks
