just posting to salute you all ;)
I hope I can be of any help here.
I'm a long time Linux user (1995), I have used Debian, SUSE, Mandrake, Fedora Core and Gentoo in this order and are now running Ubuntu 5.10 and Gentoo 2005.1 on my home network (3 boxes, it's small yet), but planning to migrate the rest to kubuntu (wife is not willing to jump to Gnome).
My interest (as a volunteer) within FOSS is i18n and i10n and I am already involved in es@li.org (but have very little todo there).
