Unlike several posters here, my automatic upgrade seemed to go well with only a few minor errors upgrading a couple of the minor packages.
However, now that all is upgraded and running, I am finding that my system is as sluggish as maple syrup in winter! If I try to run a web browser on one desktop and switch to another and open a file browser, the system hits my harddrive so long and hard that I have to wait for about 3 or 4 minutes for the file browser to display the folder contents.
If I try to run more that one or two applications at the same time my harddrive never quits! My machine has hung a few times requiring me to completely power off by doing a dirty reboot. Didn't have this type of performance issues with Heron!
Any suggestions?????
