Hey i'm new into linux

on my windows os i had foobar 2000 and the best substitution for foobar should be mesk.

But when i try to install it (Downloaded a .Deb package named:
mesk-0.3.2-1.deb)

I get the error code:
error: dependency is not satisfiable: eyed3
Even though i have installed eyed3

Have you tried Quod Libet? That is the closest linux alternative to Foobar2000 that I've tried, and I prefer it to Mesk. If you really want to run Foobar, then it will run very nicely through Wine (but folder watching in recent versions does not work).
