I tried installing automaatix before realizing that it was not compatible with 8.04. I got this message as a result:

What do i do for this particular problem and where can i find a book to help me learn how to use command lines and other necessary items so often used in linux based systems. i am having a lot of problems simple because i am not use to this type format.
