No sleep when closing notebook lid

Hey,

since the upgrade to ubuntu 8.10 from ubuntu 8.04 my notebook (hp compaq nx 7400) doesn't go to sleep when closing the lid. This worked properly under ubuntu 8.04. Anyone having a solution?

2 years bump (At least it prove used the search function...)

Since Ubuntu 9.04, I have lost the closing lid feature 80% of the time. Sometime it works, but most of the time it don't.

I use a Thinkpad X61s.

Any hint ?
