web cam D-Link c320 problem with ubuntu 8.10

I got an nice upgrade (on-line) from 8.04 to 8.10. The only problem is that my Webcam D-Link C320 that use to do the job with no problems start to produce no image but some thing like statics noise instead. In the attached files you can see it on Skype and Camorama webcam viewer.
