I am getting a series of 3 lines of error messages during both the integrity check of the Ubuntu ALTERNATE installation CD and also during the very initial stages of the O/S installation from that same CD.

Once I get the O/S installed to the hard drive I no longer see these error messages.

The series of messages are only displayed momentarily, so how do I manage to capture the text of them so I can report them in a bug report ?

This is on the Intrepid version of Ubuntu.

Thanks.

Have you performed an ISO hash check on the file you downloaded ? Hashes can be found here (http://ubuntu.mirrors.tds.net/releases/intrepid/MD5SUMS). How to check hashes can be found here (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM). You need to burn the CD at a speed of around x2 to minimize errors when burning.

Please note that I mentioned that one of the places that these errors are being displayed is when I am running the integrity check on the CD. I suppose I should have mentioned that the integrity check comes back saying that the CD is fine.

I am burning the CD at 4X.

I really don't think there is anything wrong with the CD. I can check the integrity of the CD on a different machine/computer and I do NOT get these error messages.

My question is how do I capture these error messages so I can including them in a bug report ?

Thanks.
