[SOLVED] Intrepid update start up problem

Just upgraded to 8.10, at start up I get the error message:-
(~/x sessions error file )
couldn't exec/usr/bin/pulse-session no such file or directory.

I have to start up thro' Gnome failsafe. Any ideas.
