can not run 1280 x 800

I have a Dell Inspiron 8600. Everything works great under 8.10 except I cna no longer run at 1280 x 800. I would really like this again

well it seems like the 8600 should run at 1920x1200

Have been thinking of buying one my self, it should run very good on Hardy i've heard.
