I was having a pretty bad with freezing problem with ubuntu 8.04 on my 3 year old toshiba laptop so I decided to get give the new beta 8.10 a try. It took me 5 tries to get it to install completely and now ubuntu gives me an error after the loading screen. No live or windows boot cd's will work and I am not solid on the commands to format. The recovery console "2.4.24-19-generic" get's me to the login screen but my keyboard doesn't work....
