Intrepid Ibex won't start for me. An older Ubunto will.
I just downloaded Intrepid Ibex. When I try to boot from the CD on a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4677 notebook, I immediately get a message about a media error with the realtek Ethernet adapter. This happens whether or not I have an ethernet cable plugged in and whether or not the wifi is turned on.
I do have an older version I downloaded some time ago but never did much with. It will boot and run. It will connect to my router via cable. (It sees my wifi card but I haven't figured out how to get it to connect. That's not my issue here.)
What to do?
