I upgraded to 8.10 last night and I am having the same problem with Google bookmarks i had in 8.04. The google toolbar works, but the bookmarks say "Downloading" even though they never do. I tried the same fix from the forums that was advised for 8.04:
sudo apt-get install libxul-dev libstdc++5 gcc-4.1 libstdc++6
However, this did not work in 8.10. None of the forums or bug reports seem to be updated for this issue. Please help!!
