Hi m8s, i am new at this forum. My question is how to configure oracle-xe 10g in a right way.. I have installed and uninstalled for three times. Can you suggest me a right way to configure it? i have no problem while installing and it works good for the first time when it is installed.However when i restart my system i could not start my oracle db. i have nearly read all the threads written in this forum but there is no solution still..The best one for me among them was the thing that a boy said "you have to change your /var/temp/.oracle folder's owner". That was close but not usefull again when i restart my system.. i have installed my oracle-xe newly again. Can you suggest me a way that i wont live any trouble again? THX FOR YOUR REPLIES....
